Jewish Artists and Activists

Welcome to the one and only Jewish Artist & Activist Community at Rutgers!

This is a community, network, and group of friends NEW for the 2013-2014 academic year!

WHY: As a Reform Jew on campus, I had not found a community where I could explore being Jewish within the contexts of what I’m most passionate about: the arts and activism. I also happened to find many Jews in these areas so I thought, why not create a Jewish community for all these artists and activists on campus?!

WHAT: You can look forward to a mixer, coffeehouse, casual group discussions and faculty panels to help you explore what being Jewish means to YOU within the contexts of being an artist and/or activist.

If you have any questions, suggestions or ideas, please feel free to contact Kate Thomas by Facebook or email at [email protected].
